"There are a lot of people who go through their life and don't know what their true passion is. Its ok to be not sure yet. I knew I enjoyed it, I knew I was good at it, but passion is such a heavy word. As a 21 year old, how could I be really sure?
I didn't chase my passion but I became passionate about what I chased. Because what's more important than having dreams, is having the ambition to reach them.
If you know your passion and purpose, then that is a gift. And if you don't know, consider it a duty, a high priority to actively figure it out at some point in the years ahead."

The advertising world has a long history of ground breaking campaigns and some unforgettable names. Some fell into it by accident and some were just made for it. Me? Well I'm just trying to figure it out really. I worked towards art direction for 3 years. Then when I moved to UK, I was introduced to accounts management and planning and I loved it.
I decided, the most effective way of finding out about both the sides was to ask the experts directly.
On 18th August 2016, I met up with Gordon Reid - Art director/ freelancer and Kenny Nicholson - Planning director at Mr. President. It was truly interesting how both of them had a different perspective on the same questions because of their distinct job roles in the industry.

From dealing with big clients to writing award briefs and judging them, they've done it all. It was amazing to speak to each of them about their invaluable experience.
